You can tell a lot about wood just by looking at its rings. The history of its being is right in front of you - if it was affected by drought, or when it was healing, or it had a healthy life. This is the language of a tree, writing its history in each grain and ring for us to read about for years to come. With every piece of wood, a story is waiting to be told.
Wood is our oldest organic resource, gifting us with tools, shelter, furniture and so much more. Wood is the one basic resource we can renew, and in an ideal world by maintaining and nurturing forests we can create wood forever. With threats of climate change and deforestation, we are starting to see a limit in this pure resource - but there is hope. We encourage you to always invest ethically in your wood, by choosing and supporting regulated and sustainably managed forests that help encourage biodiversity. Their goal is to prevent any harm to eco-systems, wildlife, and the trees themselves, prioritizing long term recovery rather than short term demand.

Teak is one of the strongest, and most durable of timbers. It’s natural oils make it highly resistant to any rotting or effects of sunrays, rain or snow. Teak trees also grow without artificial fertilizers or heavy irrigation, leaving the farmland renewable and sustainable. With reclaimed teak, there’s no limit to what we can create.
